Kid Writing!

Everyone is doing a wonderful job kid writing!  Ask your child what they write about each day in school and encourage them to write at home. When writing with your child, remind them to start their sentence on the left side of the page.  Their journals have a little star indicating where they should start so you could also do that at home. Encourage them to leave spaces between their words and use punctuation at the end of the sentence.  You may also want to have the alphabet flashcards and sight words flashcards out for your child to use while they write.
