New Math Centers!

This week we are learning to count and write numbers 11-20.  So far we are off to a great start.  You can practice at home by giving your child a group of objects to count (cereal pieces, noddles, small toys, stickers).  After they count the group of objects ask them to write the number!  We are also going to continue to review addition and subtraction.  Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns!

I can read with my eyes shut!

Today we practiced drawing pictures with our eyes shut.  Check out the papers coming home today to see how well we did!  We also wore shirts with a message.  We hope you enjoy the pictures!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Our 100th Day Celebration!

We finally made it to Day 100!  Despite the delay this morning we packed in lots of fun for the big day.  We made necklaces using 100 beads, created towers with 100 cups and 100 snap cubes, decorated gumball machines using Bingo dabbers, and made snowmen with 100 marshmallows.  Everyone received a special bracelet and sticker to wear today.  We also made hats to wear.  We hope you enjoy the pictures!

Math Centers!

This week we will continue working on addition and subtraction.  Please review the math worksheet that comes home each night.  All of the math centers this week will review addition and subtraction.
