Addition!

In Math this week we have been reviewing addition. Our addition test will be on Monday.  Next week we will start subtraction!

Butterflies!

In Science we have been learning about living things and life cycles.  Our caterpillars finally turned into butterflies!  We took them outside this morning and set them free!

Bricks 4 Kidz!

Today we had a fantastic Lego presentation by the owners of Bricks 4 Kidz. The students learned all about force, gravity, and motion. Each student also made their very own Lego car. Bricks 4 Kidz is a Lego Company located at the Promenade Shops in Saucon Valley. Enjoy the pictures!

Jellybean Measurement!

In Math we are learning about measurement. We are working on nonstandard units of measurement. Last week we measured classroom objects using paper clips, snap cubes, and paper ice cream cones. Today we used jellybeans to measure pencils, pipe cleaners, crayons and our handwriting books. The students really enjoyed this activity. I think their favorite part was the end when they got to eat their jellybeans :)
